About This Place

Located in the heart of Omaha’s bustling 132nd Center, bb.q Chicken 132nd Center Omaha delivers an authentic Korean fried chicken experience that has quickly become a local favorite. Specializing in Korean cuisine, this vibrant chicken restaurant offers a mouthwatering lineup of tender, juicy fried chicken that strikes the perfect balance between light crispiness on the outside and succulent flavor inside.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly their Golden Original Boneless Korean Fried Chicken—impeccably cooked fresh to order, giving each piece an irresistible crunch without any greasiness. If you're looking to turn up the heat, their Hot Spicy Boneless and Hot Spicy Wings pack a bold punch of red chili sauce, fiery yet richly flavored, satisfying those with a taste for spice. For something more nuanced, the Honey Garlic Boneless and Honey Garlic Wings envelop the palate with a sweet, soy-based glaze, offering a delightful contrast to the spicy options.

Beyond wings, the menu boasts a wonderful variety—from the savory Spicy Galbi Fried Chicken Wings with their deep, complex Korean marinade to crowd-pleasers like Cheesling Fries and perfectly crispy Fried Dumplings. The Kimchi Fried Rice provides an authentic, tangy sidekick, while the classic Pickled Radish cleanses the palate between bites. And if you love layers of indulgence, try the Gangnam Style Wings or add extra cheese for a rich, comforting twist.

Diners consistently praise the generous portion sizes and the fresh preparation, noting that while it may take around 20 minutes to cook fresh, the wait is well worth it. The dining atmosphere matches the boldness of the menu—modern, casual, and buzzing with energy, it’s a place where food lovers can relax and indulge in flavorful dishes that satisfy both family meals and solo cravings.

Customers like Tsan Diltz-Rydel highlight the “cool vibe” and recommend the spicy Galbi wings as a must-try, while Zach Diehm appreciates the variety of flavors and the ability to mix and share dishes, even enjoying takeout without losing the essence of freshly cooked chicken. Nikki McMaster’s experience with a lunch special praises the perfect crunch and friendly service, capturing the welcoming and satisfying essence of this spot. With a friendly, prompt staff and an enthusiastic crowd on weekends (which Poli Poli notes with appreciation for efficient online pickup options), bb.q Chicken 132nd Center Omaha genuinely stands out in the Omaha food scene.

Whether you’re a Korean food enthusiast or simply someone seeking expertly crafted fried chicken with an international twist, this restaurant delivers authentic flavors with care and consistency. From the addictive sauces to the crisp, tender wings, bb.q Chicken offers a culinary experience that’s as vibrant as the city it calls home.

This is the best Korean Fried Chicken I’ve had in town. I’d been to the Wichita location a couple times so knew the food was delicious. Huge size portions. Takes up to 20 min for the chicken because it’s cooked fresh. I like spicy, and don’t find any of the sauces I’ve tried to be terribly hot, but you can ask for them to be spicier. Cool vibe inside. Try the Spicy Galbi!

I’ve been here a few times now and tried quite a few different things. We did takeout this time. I can’t eat more than a small, so to get more flavors we cross buy what everyone will eat and share. It is something I crave. I could eat here every day if the week. My wife doesn’t do fried chicken so she gets the fried rice and loves it. My son and I love spicy so we spice it up. Today we got spicy galbi and gangjeong. We have leftovers and it also goes in the air fryer and still slaps next day. I love this place. Try it.

We tried this for the first time the other day and LOVED IT! We had the lunch special which included generous portions. I had the boneless Galbi chicken which was sweeter w/ sweet potato fries and my son ordered the cheese chicken with regular fries. Crunch was perfect, great flavor & prompt/friendly service. A must try!!

One of the best fried chicken in Omaha. Yes, it's a Korean franchise, but the food, service, and vibes are all fantastic here. Try it out! Update 8/16/25: this gets packed on the weekends, but hey they do fast and easy pickup orders on their app/Google too!

I am so glad there is a Korean fried chicken place in Omaha. I was craving it after living in Korea for 15 years. It is way better than wing stop in my opinion. Koreans know how to do it right plus the radish as a side dish. Go Daehanminguk!

The server was attentive. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean. The portions were huge! I ordered two appetizers for myself and another person. Huge portion for the appetizers. When the wings came out the wing sizes were huge too. Ended up being too full to finish and we took the rest home. I had two additional meals at home from my leftovers after.

I give this place three and a half stars. The food was great as was the service. I got a small 8-piece order of the golden original boneless and my husband got the boneless Gangjeong and they were both really good. We shared an order of French fries and So Ddeok So Ddeok which were also good. My problem is that 8 boneless wings is a lot of food and it would be nice if there were a smaller option of 4 or 6 wings. Also a half-sized option of fries would be nice. It would also be a great addition to the menu to add a "flight" of wings so you could try more of the different flavors.
